VPN L2TP client configuration – Mac OS X

 

In the first step, go to “System Preferences …”

 

 

Then, in the “Internet and wireless” select “Network”

 

 

Add a new network connection by clicking the “+”

 

 

From “Interface” tab, choose “VPN”

 

 

 

From “Typ VPN” tab, choose “L2TP over IPSec”
Type a name for the connection, for example “VPN Online (L2TP)” and click “Create”

 

 

In the “Server address” field, type name of VPNonline server

In the Account name”field, type your User name

 

In the customer panel you will find the available vpn server: www.portal.vpnonline.pl

 

Click “Authentication Settings …”

 

 

In the “User Authentication” field, choose password authentication

In the “Password” field, type your password

 

In the “Machine Authentication” field, select “Shared Secret”

In the “Shared Secret” field, type: vpnonline.pl

Kliknij “OK”

 

 

Select “Show VPN status in menu bar” and click “Advanced …” button

 

 

In the “Session options” select “Send all traffic over VPN connection”

Click “OK”

 

 

For approval of all changes, click “Apply”

To connect to the VPN server, click “Connect”

 

 

After a successful connection is established, the status will change to “Connected”

 

 

To disconnect the VPN connection, click on the top bar and the drop-down list, select “Disconnect VPN Online (L2TP)”
