VPN PPTP client configuration – Synology (NAS)

In the first step, login to your Synology NAS and go to “Contorl Panel” (1)

In the second step, go to “Application Settings” and click “VPN” (2)

Create new profile for VPN connection, click “Create” (3)

Choose “PPTP” (4) connection and click “Next” (5)

In “General Settings” complete the following fields:

In the “Profil name” (6) field, type name of vpn connection

In the “Server address” (7) field, type the name of one of the VPNonline server

In the customer panel you will find the available vpn server: www.portal.vpnonline.pl

In the “User name” (8) field, type your User Name

In the “Password” (9) field, type your password

After filling in all the required fields, click“Next” (10)

In the “Advanced Settings” field, select from the following:

In the “Authentication” field, choose “MS CHAP v2” (11)

In the “Encryption” field, choose “Require MPPE (40/128 bit)” (12)

Select “Use default gateway on remote network” (13)

Select “Reconect when the VPN connection is lost” (14)

After filling in all the required fields, click “Next” (15)

To establish VPN connection, click “Connect” (16)
